We're taking a breather. Here's something we thought you'd like to know.
Just a quick note to let you know we are heading off on annual leave from 16th June and will be back on 1st July. If you send us an email while we are away, we will get back to you as soon as we are through the door.
The shop is staying open the whole time. Orders will be placed and processed as normal, so nothing changes on that front.

A little milestone worth sharing
Since we opened our doors in 2018, you and thousands of customers like you have placed over 28,000 orders with us. For a small family business that started because James received a wooden watch as a wedding gift, that number still genuinely surprises us every time we look at it. Thank you, honestly.
Of those customers, 1,221 have taken the time to leave a review. 91% of them gave us five stars. We read every single one.
We started this because we believed a wooden watch could be more than a novelty. Seven years later, people are still reaching for them every morning. That means everything to us.
Something we find fascinating about wood
No two pieces of wood are ever the same. The grain, the colour, the texture, every plank tells a different story depending on where the tree grew, what seasons it lived through, and how old it was when it was cut.
A harsh winter leaves a tight ring in the wood. A good growing season leaves a wide one. You can read the entire history of a tree just by looking at a cross section. Decades of weather, drought, abundance, all recorded silently in the grain.
That is why two watches made from the same batch of walnut can look completely different. It is not a flaw. It is the whole point. When you buy one of our watches, you are getting something that has quite literally never existed before and never will again.
We think that is pretty special.
